This model uses Canon's Pg (pigmented) inks to deliver exceptionally fast speeds with an unprecedented color gamut for pigmented inks. Canon has created a printing solution that is ideal for poster printing, photography, banner printing as well as many other applications that require archivability.  The W8200Pg model combines the speed and quality the imagePROGRAF line is already known for, with the longevity of pigmented inks. The imagePROGRAF W8200Pg utilizes CanonÔø_s revolutionary 1-inch wide print head with 7,680 nozzles for unmatched print speeds. Quality is controlled by CanonÔø_s MicroFine Droplet TechnologyÔø_ that ensures crisp, clear, high quality output.   Features Pigment InkÔø_Canon has developed a super fine pigment particle with extra polymer coating. The extremely small pigment particles allow the W8200Pg to achieve a high quality image output. Canon adds extra polymer compound to its photo inks to protect the particle from fading under light. The result is extremely durable photo color ink with museum level quality. Wide Head TechnologyÔø_CanonÔø_s 1-inch wide print head with 7,680 nozzles permits the W8200Pg to achieve print speeds that are significantly faster than conventional print heads without sacrificing quality. High Speed Print EngineÔø_The imagePROGRAF series combines a high-speed print engine with its new head design and bi-directional printing to achieve unprecedented print speeds. With a heater mounted at the end of each nozzle the print head generates a bubble that fires ink straight down.
