In the PDF file, the vector geometry is used to convert it accurately into a DWG/DXF file format. As PDF does not know circles or arcs, a lot of knowhow has being used to generate them from polylines or splines. You will see it! However, if the source includes raster images they will be stored as raster images in a separate file.
