Are You Using One of these Top 3 Printers?

Posted by MacroEnter on 4th Feb 2016

Ever year technology is changing, and with that comes new products on the market to replace the old ones with newer and better features. Printers are no different in that regard. Everyone wants the latest and greatest, top rated printers they can find, and if it isn't too hard on their bank account, it makes it that much better. What will follow is a small list of some of the top printers for 2016. In the description some terms will be used that I will explain now. When something is referring to ppm or imp, that is referring to the print speed in pages per minute, or inches per minute. The last confusing term is dpi, which will stand for dots per inch, which directly relates to the resolution of the image being printer. That being said, let's go ahead and take a look at some of these printers

CANON PIXMA MX92

Canon has always been a huge competitor in the world of home and office printing. The PIXMA MX922 is no exception. As far as Canon printers are concerned, this printer is a little on the smaller side. But don't let that fool you, it is extremely powerful. The printer has built in WiFi, so you can easily hook this up to your home or office network, so anyone will be able to print to it. The setup is easy, and can be done in a matter of minutes.

This particular printer can handle images with a resolution up to 2400 x 4800dpi. That is a really remarkable number considering the size of the unit itself. The speed on this printer for black and white documents comes in at around 15ipm, and color documents at 10ipm. That might seem a little slow when you read about some of the other printers later on, but you are sacrificing time, for quality with any Canon printer. To put this in perspective, you can print a stunningly colorful 4 x 6 border less photo, in right around 20 seconds. It will depend on what you set the print/photo quality to at the time of printing.

This printer also comes with a tray to fit any CD, DVD, or Blu-Ray that you may want to print to. This printer will cost you around $95, and is a great purchase for all that it delivers.

HP OFFICEJET PRO 8610

The Officejet Pro 8610 is one of the top rated wireless printers on the market today. This stems from the fact that this printer comes packed with a lot of superior features. While the printer itself is a little larger than some might be hoping for, it is because this printer is an All-In-One printer to service all your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs. Printing black and white at a respectful 19ppm, with color at 14ppm. That is nothing to be ashamed of.

The copier has the ability to enlarge or reduce at 25% up to 400% the original document, and can scan up to 1200dpi. With the use of the wireless internet connection, and the touchscreen, you can scan a documents as an e-mail attachment, and send it straight from the printer itself. This is a great buy for anyone, with a price range between $80-$99.

BROTHER MFC-J870DW

Brother has been one of the biggest innovators when it comes to top wireless printers, and the MFC-J80DW continues that reputation without fail. Again, this is another All-In-One printer for you home or office, so it will do everything that you need it to do. This is the fastest printer that made the list, coming it with black and white documents at 33ppm, and color documents at 27ppm.

The printer will connect to most mobile devices, along with any PC or Mac computer. It can be connected using the wireless function, Ethernet cable, or the Hi-speed USB 2.0 connector that comes with it. Like other Brother printers, this device is easy to setup to the wireless and home network in a matter of minutes. This is the most expensive printer that I've mentioned, coming in at right around $150. But with printing speeds like that, coming from an inkjet printer, there shouldn't be too many complaints with the printer.

As you can see, these are only three of many options that available to you. If inkjet isn't exactly what you are currently looking for, 2016 also affords us a whole new selection of top rated laser printers. Brother being a huge player in the top laser printer market as well.
